Day 1: Pick up from Kigali airport and Transfer to the hotel

Arrival of your flight at Kigali International Airport. Meet and Greet. You will be warmly welcomed by our representative outside customs and immigration hall, then Transfer to the hotel for Check-in dinner, and overnight.

 Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park for Short Game Drive and Boat ride

Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Akagera national park and then Drive to the Hotel/Lodge for check-in ,lunch, and Relaxing  then embark on Ihema lake for Boating where You might spot various water animals like hippos, crocodiles, and different species of water birds then after embark to the hotel for Dinner & Overnight

 Day 3: Air balloon experience, behind the scene Activity & Night Game drive

In early the morning at 5h00am the Driver Guide will pick you up Heading to the hot air balloon site where will enjoy the sunrise and different species of animals found in Akagera National Park while in the Air, then after the Hot air balloon experience will celebrate the Champagne and bush breakfast then  continue hotel to Relax later will drive to the park Headquarters for behind the scene activity to know how the park operates the daily basis and back to the Hotel /Lodge to be prepared for Night game drive  after the experience will drive back to the hotel /lodge for  Dinner &overnight

 Day 4: Full Game drive,

After an early breakfast, your Driver guide will pick you up from the hotel /Lodge then drive through Akagera National Park enjoying Rwanda’s phenomenal landscapes and wildlife. During this game drive you may meet the big five, different mammals, Birdlife, and reptiles. This game drive from the south up to the northern exit will take almost 7 hours means that you will be at Karenge around 4 pm. Then Dinner & Overnight

 Day 5: Transfer to Musanze

Later in the Moring After breakfast, the Driver Guide will pick you up from the bush and then drive to Musanze via Nyagatare – Gicumbi on the way will be enjoying different attractions and having a stopover in Gicumbi city for Lunch then straight to Musanze for Hotel Check-in relaxing at the lodge then Dinner & Overnight.

 Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Experience & Gorilla Guardian

Have yourself an early tasty breakfast, after which your driver guide will take you to the headquarters in the park by 7 am for beefing. Later embark on the amazing adventure which is gorilla trekking, in most cases this activity requires some physical fitness by the hikers. On several occasions, it takes between 3 to 6 hours to trek and trekkers are permitted to be with the gorillas for 1 hour. It is a nice experience seeing them play, guard each other, and feed among others. While trekking hikers will be in line to also see other animals like golden monkeys, elephants, buffaloes as well as birds. After trekking, you will be escorted back and head to the lodge for lunch then after Relaxation will drive to Iby’iwacu Cultural Village (Gorilla Guardians) in Musanze District based in the community bordering Volcanoes National Park. At the village, you will have a wonderful, interactive experience, learning all about Rwandan traditions, cultural songs, and dances. You will be given a chance to participate in local dances and drum, all while wearing a traditional local “Umushanana” dress; shooting arrows, and attending a traditional healer’s medicine show from there we shall drive to your hotel for Dinner and overnight

 Day 7: Golden Monkey trekking &Transfer to Rubavu.

Wake up early and take your breakfast before transferring to the headquarters in Kinigi. The briefing starts at 7:00 and ends at 8:00 am. From there, you will be taken along other trackers to the starting point which is at the foot of the Volcano. The scenery is beautiful with dense green forest and the five volcanoes standing in all directions. Finding the monkeys is easy because they love eating bamboo which is found on the lower slopes of the Volcanoes. After finding them, you are allowed one hour with them. You are free to follow them if they move about. Golden monkeys are not shy once they finish the process of habituation. Expect to have close encounters with them which will allow you to get nice photos of them. Unlike mountain gorillas, golden monkeys don’t mind flash cameras. They love being photographed. Taking good photos is not easy because of their mobility but you will have no issues with videos. Golden monkeys are very playful primates and you will be amazed as you watch them demonstrate their natural skills in climbing trees and picking tasty shoots from the edges of bamboo trees. They love potatoes and will not hesitate to go out into human gardens to get a few. You will learn more about their behavior and why they are endangered.  You will return to the starting point and Drive to the Hotel for lunch then continue the journey to Rubavu.

 Day 8: Rubavu city tour, and Kayaking in Kivu Lake

In the morning will drive on a Rubavu city tour where will visit different places, like the borders of Rwanda and DRC (GOMA) then enjoy the view of Nyiragongo’s volcano found in DRC after will back to the hotel for lunch and ready for Kayaking experience in Kivu lake then back to the hotel for dinner and overnight!

 Day 9: Transfer to Karongi and visiting a different Island

In the morning after breakfast will drive to Karongi via Gishwati Kukura National Park on the way will be enjoying amazing attractions like a tea plantation arriving at Karongi will go directly to the hotel for check-in and lunch then take a boat to visit the islands and hiking Napoleon Island then back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

 Day 10: Environmental museum & transfer to Rusizi

In the morning will drive to the environmental museum then after visiting will drive to Rusizi via Nyamasheke on the way will enjoy different plantations and the view of Idjwi Island in DRC arriving in Rusizi will keep enjoying the great views like Kivu Lake, Bukavu city in DRC……etc…. then drive to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

 Day11: Visiting Nkombo

In the morning will take a boat to Nkombo Island the Island will visit around and lifestyle experience then back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Note: If Time allows will go for the Bugarama hot spring experience

 Day 12: Chimpanzees trekking

Very early in the morning around 5 am will drive to Gisakura Park reception to pick up the park guide then continue to Cyamudongo Forest for chimpanzees trekking then after will drive to the hotel for lunch, relaxing, dinner and overnight!

 Day 13: Canopy walkway, visiting the Kings Palace Museum Transfer to Kigali

After breakfast will drive to Nyungwe National Park for a canopy walkway experience then after will drive to Nyanza to visit the Kings Palace Museum then continue to Kigali for Dinner and overnight!

 Day 14: Kigali city tour & transfer to the airport for Departure

Early at 9 am after breakfast will go for a Kigali city tour   where will visit different places in Kigali including the Kigali memorial site, and the Belgium tomb, and sightseeing then after lunch transfer to the airport for departure
